Terms of Engagement
By proceeding with the $300 Application Fee, you agree to the following terms.
1. The Service Model
MentorMatch is a managed service provider. We are engaged to source, vet, and manage high-caliber mentors to support your child's specific goals. You are entering into a service agreement with MENTORMATCH PTE. LTD. dba MentorMatch, not an employment contract with an individual mentor.
2. Fee Structure
Application Fee
The $300 Application Fee initiates our mentor search, with curated profiles typically delivered within 48 hours. This is non-refundable as it covers the immediate deployment of our scouting resources. It is 100% creditable toward your mentor's initial session fees.
Program Fee
The one-time Program Fee ($1,800 for Level 1, $2,500 for Level 2) is due upon selection of your preferred mentor from the anonymized Dossiers. Payment unlocks the full Dossier (personal details) and activates the 1-Year Service Guarantee.
Session Payments
To ensure seamless payment to our mentors, session fees must be settled via the MentorMatch platform. A minimum Technical Credit balance of $300 must be maintained on account to keep the mandate active.
3. Continuity Assurance
By enrolling in the Program, you're guaranteed a mentor who meets our standards for the entire year. If a transition is needed (due to "chemistry fit" or mentor unavailability), we provide a replacement mentor at no additional cost.
4. Relationship of Parties
The Mentor provided is an independent sub-contractor of MentorMatch. The Client shall not:
- Attempt to engage the Mentor privately outside of the MentorMatch platform.
- Discuss or negotiate private hourly rates with the Mentor.
- Solicit, request, or arrange any lessons, coaching, tutoring, or mentorship sessions with the Mentor through any channel other than the MentorMatch platform.
- Refer the Mentor's contact details to third parties; all referrals must be directed through the official MentorMatch application process.
5. Non-Circumvention & Mentor Exclusivity
The Client agrees that for a period of 12 months following the introduction of a Mentor, they will not engage said Mentor (or any other mentor introduced by the Agency) for any services except through MentorMatch. Breach of this clause will result in a Mandate Recovery Fee of S$3,500.
Acknowledgment of Mentor Exclusivity
The Client acknowledges and understands that all MentorMatch Mentors are bound by an Exclusive Representation Agreement, which obligates them to provide instruction, coaching, and mentorship services in their verified discipline(s) exclusively through the MentorMatch platform. The Client agrees not to request, encourage, or facilitate any arrangement that would cause the Mentor to breach their exclusivity obligations.
Mentor Code of Conduct
All Elite Mentors engaged through MentorMatch are contractually bound by the following Code of Conduct. Violations will result in immediate termination.
I. Professional Standards
- Mentors must maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Sessions must be conducted in appropriate environments as specified in the Child Safeguarding Policy.
- Mentors must not accept gifts, favours, or additional payments outside of the MentorMatch platform.
II. Confidentiality
- All family information, student data, and session details are strictly confidential.
- Mentors shall not discuss a family's circumstances with third parties.
- Academic records and progress reports must only be shared with the enrolled parent/guardian.
III. Safeguarding Obligations
- Mentors must complete mandatory safeguarding training before commencing sessions.
- Any concerns regarding child welfare must be reported immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Mentors must adhere to all protocols outlined in the Child Safeguarding and Protection Policy.
By ticking the box and proceeding with the $300 Application Fee, you (the "Client") agree to the terms above.
